The Story
In ancient temples, cleansing was never just about the body. It was preparation — to enter holy space, to meet the Beloved, to remember you are sacred.

The Butters
Shea Butter — From the African tree of life. Velvet on skin, like a blessing.
Cacao Butter — Food of the gods, now food for your skin. Rich, protective, grounding.
Coconut Oil — Purifying, cleansing, the temple wash.
The Rose & Saffron Heart macerated in Olive Oil — Not just scent, but essence. Roses steeped in golden oil until the sun and flower become one.

The Sacred Resins
Mastic EO — Tears of the Chios tree. Clarifying, sacred, used in monasteries for centuries.
Resin — The blood of trees. Myrrh’s cousin. Holds prayer, seals intention.

The Gifts of the Hive
Propolis — What bees make to keep their hive holy. Antimicrobial, protective. The temple seal.
Royal Jelly — Food of queens. Nourishment for transformation.
Bee Pollen — Condensed sunlight. Vitamins, minerals, life force in each grain.  

Together, the hive ingredients turn this bar into gold — nourishing, preserving, and blessing the skin.

The Ritual

• Arrowroot is a fine, powdery starch extracted from the root of the arrowroot plant. In products like MoonMagick's DeoBalm, it helps absorb moisture and reduce friction, keeping your skin feeling smooth and dry. It's also gentle and non-irritating, making it perfect for sensitive skin.
• Magnesium hydroxide is a naturally occurring mineral compound with anti-inflammatory properties.
• Shea butter is like liquid gold for your skin! It's a rich, nourishing butter extracted from the nuts of the shea tree. Super moisturising and hydrating, it helps soften and protect dry skin. Shea butter is also packed with vitamins A and E, and antioxidants, which can help soothe and calm irritated skin.
• Coconut oil is a versatile oil extracted from coconut meat, known for its moisturising and nourishing properties. Rich in antioxidants and fatty acids, it helps hydrate and protect the skin under your arms.
